As Rebecca and I were walking across the School District’s parking lot, I said to her ” I feel like I’m going to an execution”.  The last budget meeting had a 4 to 1  vote for cutting Alvord out of the budget. The first item of today’s hastily called Special Session was about suspending the rules, so the Board wouldn’t have to give Alvord a year’s notice on closure. The second item was whether or not to give Alvord a year to come up with the funding.
